The ReFashion Hub
The ReFashion Hub is a collective working to bring together multiple stakeholders invested in wastewater reuse and management in the textile industry with long term positive climate impact. The stakeholders include textile bodies, industry leaders, fashion businesses, young designers, artisans and consumers to drive conversation about wastewater generated by the textile and water industry.
The ReFashion Hub will strive to:
Raise awareness and drive conversation about wastewater generated by the fashion industry
Call for commitment from textile bodies, industry leaders, fashion businesses to reduce the fashion water footprint and for treatment of textile wastewater
Engage with government departments to strengthen implementation of policies on reuse or management of textile wastewater

In The Spotlight
The ReFashion aims to:
Reach 5 million young fashion conscious consumers through social media platforms
Collectivise and engage with textile bodies, associations and decision makers in 4 states (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab) to drive conversation and action on waste water management
Create a textile forum (comprising of key stakeholders from the industry) under India Water Stewardship Network for long term action on waste water management
Inspire fashion designers, artisans, young people, businesses to commit to and take action for fair fashion

Engage in fireside chats and national consultations to talk about the need for wastewater use and management
Share your experiences, ideas and thoughts on fair fashion on social media
Commit to the cause:
Participate in primary data collection on water footprint, current wastewater management practices and existing applicable policies
Attend awareness and training workshops on water stewardship
Represent voices of the clusters to relevant government departments for support on way forward for wastewater management
