Siya C. Batra is a communications and campaigns professional with over 6 years of expertise in marketing – with a focus on campaign strategy, corporate communications, social media marketing and event management, She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Purdue University, USA where she also received academic specialization in International Business, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. She brings these skills to her most recent role at CRB. Prior to joining CRB she worked at Infogain, where she successfully worked with teams across geographical boundaries. An avid animal lover, Siya is a well-rounded and creative individual, with interests ranging from traveling to art and design.

Seasoned Development Professional with 14+ years of expertise in Livelihood, Enterprise Development, Market Systems, Institution Building, and Public-Private Partnerships. Experienced as a Technical Advisor to government and CSOs on Agri-Livelihood, Landscape Restoration, and Sustainable Development. Committed to empowering rural communities and driving social impact through strategic, multi-stakeholder collaboration.

I am a Political Science (Human Rights and Journalism electives) graduate from Loreto College under Calcutta University. My academic journey induced a deep interest in rights advocacy and social justice which I further explored through internships with organizations like Child Rights and You (CRY) and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). I went on to pursue my Master’s in Development Studies from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, during which I undergone a research internship at IIT Kharagpur.
My professional journey began with grassroots engagement—working closely with underprivileged and marginalized communities, especially in the unorganized sector advocating
for their rights and entitlements. With three years of experience, I have worked with various corporates, brands, CSOs, and business supply chains to promote labour rights, conduct capacity building workshops, human rights risk assessments, implement Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) and responsible business conduct.
As a part of Business and Human Rights, I have worked across diverse sectors such as garments and apparel, rugs & carpets, organic cotton, natural stone, and IT, in geographies including India, Bangladesh, and Madagascar. My core areas of interest include laws and governance, labour rights, sustainable development, responsible business conduct, supply chain due diligence, and international relations.
Apart from this, I am a big-time foodie and love to travel whenever I get a chance!

I’m Sweta Kumari, a sustainability enthusiast and Programme Officer at the Centre for Responsible Business, where I contribute to projects driving circularity in the Indian textile and apparel sector. With a Master’s in Environmental Science and Sustainability from St. Joseph’s University, Bangalore, and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from BBMKU, Dhanbad, I bring both academic insight and a practical mindset to sustainability challenges.

My journey has taken me through impactful experiences, including an internship at the United Nations Global Compact Network India, where I worked on impact assessments, SDG-driven research, stakeholder engagement, and major sustainability events. I’m deeply passionate about using technology and communication from GIS mapping and ESG analytics to branding and storytelling to make sustainability more actionable and accessible.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the intersection of design, data, and environmental impact, and am always looking for ways to turn research into real world solutions. I believe in purposeful, measurable change and strive every day to contribute to a future that is both responsible and regenerative.

Davneet is a Programme Officer at the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB), where she contributes to research and programme initiatives on sustainability and responsible business practices. Her work involves research, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and knowledge development with a focus on sustainable agriculture and value chains. She holds an MSc. in Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and a BSc. in Life Sciences from Delhi University. Her master’s dissertation assessed the perception and adoption of sustainable agricultural practices among farmer organizations in Uttar Pradesh. During her academic journey, she completed a summer internship with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) under the Resource Conservation and Management division. She enjoys spending time in nature, believing that a deeper understanding of its value strengthens the commitment to protect and restore it.

Pragya Tyagi is a Sustainability Professional with an interdisciplinary background in History, Law, and Sustainable Development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Delhi, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Amity University, and a Master’s in Sustainable Development Practices from the TERI School of Advanced Studies. Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, she has experience in Litigation, Legal Research, Analysis, and Advocacy. Drawing on her multidisciplinary background, her work focuses on Sustainable Development, International Trade, Responsible Business, and the Regulatory and Governance frameworks that shape these domains.

Niveditha Nair is a Communications Officer at the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB), where she works on strategic communications that support sustainability, responsible business, and inclusive development. She works across content strategy, social media, digital storytelling, and stakeholder communications, translating complex ideas into engaging and accessible narratives for diverse audiences.

A graduate of Miranda House, University of Delhi, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology, Niveditha combines strong analytical thinking with a passion for creative communication. Prior to joining CRB, she worked with Learning Links Foundation as a Communications Consultant and Communications Intern, contributing to communication strategies and campaigns across education, skilling, and social impact programmes. Her experience also includes public relations, community engagement, and creative communications through student-led organisations and leadership roles. 

Curious by nature, she enjoys music, films, travelling and exploring diverse cultures. She believes that creativity and empathy help shape perspectives and foster meaningful connections.

Vaibhav is a Research Associate at CRB, specialising in decarbonisation and sustainability strategy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from Amity University and a Master’s degree in Economics with a specialization in Sustainability from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS).

He is ISO 14064 certified by Bureau Veritas and has completed professional training in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) through the ESG Institute (formerly known as CSRD Institute), strengthening his expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, emissions reporting, and sustainability disclosure frameworks.

Prior to joining CRB, Vaibhav worked in the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) domain with Vatika Group, where he conducted environmental audits, delivered sustainability and safety trainings, and quantified GHG emissions across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, township, and institutional real estate assets. His experience spans emissions accounting, environmental compliance, and the practical implementation of sustainability initiatives.

At CRB, his work focuses on decarbonisation, sustainability strategy, climate policy, and emerging environmental frameworks, with a particular interest in helping organisations navigate the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Outside of work, Vaibhav is passionate about nature and wildlife, follows football closely, and enjoys reading, films, recreational gaming, and swimming. He is keen on learning languages and, holds the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 certification, and is currently learning Spanish.

Saumya is a Psychology graduate from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University and holds an MBA in HR & Marketing from GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, Greater Noida. She has practical experience as an HR trainee, where she actively contributed to recruitment, talent acquisition, full employee lifecycle management, and employee engagement initiatives.

I am Divyanka Pawar, a creative individual with a background in Applied Art and a passion for exploring different mediums of art and design to develop my creative practice. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in History, which has further deepened my interest in culture, storytelling, and creative expression.
Currently, I work as a Young Professional Graphic Designer at the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB), where I create visual content for communication and storytelling. I am passionate about continuously learning, exploring new ideas, and expanding my skills in graphic design, digital media, and visual communication.

I am currently pursuing my graduation in B.Voc from Jagannath University. I work across graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics, using tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. I enjoy creating clean and engaging visual content, and I am always looking to improve my skills and try new ideas in design and storytelling.

Suryansh holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Law and is currently pursuing Master’s in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University Bengaluru. His core interests lie in Sustainability and AI Governance, and looks at Sustainability as a core human value which the businesses must keep in mind while engaging in commerical activities.
